Algebra I is the foundation—the skills acquired in this course contain the basic knowledge needed for all future high school math courses. The material covered in this course is important, but everyone can do it. Everyone can have a good time solving the hundreds of real-world problems algebra can help answer. Course activities make the numbers, graphs, and equations more real. The content in this course is tied to real-world applications like sports, travel, business, and health.This course is designed to give students the skills and strategies to solve all kinds of mathematical problems. Students will also acquire the confidence needed to handle everything high school math has in store for them. Algebra I emphasizes the importance of algebra in everyday life through hundreds of real-world examples. Assessments are designed to ensure that your understanding goes beyond rote memorization of steps and procedures. Upon successful course completion, you will have a strong foundation in Algebra I and will be prepared for other higher level math courses.
Recommended school grade 9 -11.
Students are strongly recommended to study 3 - 4 hours per week.

Humans are fascinating. Why do we think and behave the way we do? What makes us similar in some ways and different in others? And, above all, how do these factors affect how we interact with the world around us?
In Psychology Basics, we will explore all of these questions and much more. Throughout the course, you will get to know some of the brilliant psychologists and their contributions to the field – like S. Freud, A. Bandura, E. Loftus, and I. P. Pavlov. It has been said that “psychology has a long past, but only a short history,” so we will trace the ideas that have shaped psychology as a discipline from the early beginnings to the current state of things. You will discover how humans develop from a psychological perspective across the lifespan, how language and memory work, and, at the end of the year, you will also obtain foundational knowledge of psychological disorders. You may expect a wide range of activities, real-life scenarios and tips for your everyday life: for example, how to recognise cognitive obstacles, cope with stress or learn new information effectively. Students are strongly recommended to study on average 3 - 4 hours per week.
