This course offers a combination of assessment and instruction in an online environment containing but not limited to the areas of functions, functions and limits, differential calculus, and integral calculus. AP Calculus AB is designed to be the equivalent of a first semester college calculus course devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus.
In AP Calculus AB, students walk in the footsteps of Newton and Leibnitz. This interactive course framework combines with an exciting on-line course delivery to make calculus an adventure. The course includes a study of limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, differential equations, and the applications of derivatives and integrals. This course consists of a full high school year of work that is comparable to calculus courses in colleges and universities. It is expected that students who take an AP course in calculus will seek college credit, college placement, or both, from institutions of higher learning. Most colleges and universities offer a sequence of several courses in calculus, and entering students are placed within this sequence according to the extent of their preparation, as measured by the results of an AP examination or other criteria.
The AP exam fee is not included in the course fee.
Students are strongly recommended to study 6 - 8 hours per week.
RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES: Before studying calculus, all students should complete the equivalent of four years of secondary mathematics designed for college-bound students: courses that should prepare them with a strong foundation in reasoning with algebraic symbols and working with algebraic structures. Prospective calculus students should take courses in which they study algebra, geometry, trigonometry, analytic geometry, and elementary functions.

This course applies differential calculus to finding the slope of a curve, solving problems with related rates, calculating motion properties of moving particles, etc. It then applies integral calculus to finding the areas of irregular regions in a plane, volumes of rotation by various methods, and other scientific applications. Finally, the course explores analytic geometry, series, and convergence, as well as polynomial series and approximations.
AP Calculus BC is designed to be the equivalent to both first and second semester college calculus courses. AP Calculus BC applies the content and skills learned in AP Calculus AB to parametrically defined curves, polar curves, and vector-valued functions; develops additional integration techniques and applications; and introduces the topics of sequences and series.

With the current changes in global climate, rising sea levels, and warming oceans, it is important for students to discover the state of Earth's systems and the consequences of human activities. AP Environmental Science provides students with a global view of their world and their role in it. It examines the scientific principles and concepts required to understand the interrelationships between ocean, land, and atmosphere that guide the natural world and allow Earth to be a planet suitable for life. Laboratory activities within the course support learning of these relationships through reflective, hands-on, or virtual experiences. In addition, students identify and analyze environmental problems that are natural and human-made, determining their own ecological footprint in the world to discover how their activities affect the world around them. Students evaluate the relative risks associated with environmental problems and examine alternative solutions including clean energy, sustainable practices, and conservation, for resolving or preventing future environmental problems. The AP exam fee is not included in the course fee.

AP Psychology is a college-level course providing students with an overview of the development of human behaviors and thoughts. Along with preparation for the AP Psychology exam, the goals of this course are to immerse students in modern psychological investigation techniques, to accentuate the ethics and morality of human and animal research, and to emphasize scientific critical thinking skills in application to the social sciences. As the topics covered in the course are quite complex and students are expected to write structured discursive essays, the recommended level of English is upper-intermediate (B2 in European Framework of Reference for Languages). Recommended age: 17+.
Due to an unexpected and broad changes in the course content and syllabus, announced by College Board in late March 2024, in 2024_25 the main course focus is to prepare students for the AP Psychology exam using all available resources.
The AP exam fee is not included in the course fee.
Students are strongly recommended to study on average about 8 - 10 hours per week.

The AP Statistics course introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. There are four themes evident in the content, skills, and assessment in the AP Statistics course: exploring data, sampling and experimentation, probability and simulation, and statistical inference. Students use technology, investigations, problem solving, and writing as they build conceptual understanding. The AP Statistics course is equivalent to a one-semester, introductory, non-calculus-based college course in statistics.
The content of AP Statistics differs significantly from the curriculum content of Czech secondary schools, where descriptive statistics are mostly taught. Almost all universities encounter statistical data processing and analysis in most study programs, including humanities. The AP Statistics course is an excellent preparation not only for students planning to take the AP exam but also for students who intend to study at any university in the Czech Republic or abroad.
The AP exam fee is not included in the course fee.
Students are strongly recommended to study 6 - 8 hours per week.
PREREQUISITES: The AP Statistics course is an excellent option for any secondary school student who has successfully completed a second-year course in algebra and who possesses sufficient mathematical maturity and quantitative reasoning ability.

Within AP U.S. Government and Politics, students develop and use disciplinary practices and reasoning processes to explore political concepts, policies, interactions, roles, and behaviors that characterize the constitutional system and political culture of the United States. Students examine core principles, theories, and processes through direct study of U.S. foundational documents and Supreme Court opinions. They also participate in a civic project in which they research, study, and compile data on a political science topic and create a presentation that exhibits their findings and experiences. The AP U.S. Government and Politics course is structured around five big ideas outlined within the College Board Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics Course Framework. Each big idea is aligned to enduring understanding statements and learning objectives that focus on key concepts and essential knowledge about foundations of American democracy, civil liberties and civil rights, interactions among branches of government, American political participation, ideologies, and beliefs.
